Centro 1444 Light Street, 443-869-6871, The food at Centro is both artistic and authentic, and one doesn’t need to spend a fortune to eat well. The offerings are numerous, and we have no favorites, as there is a dazzling array of textures, flavors, and styles to choose from. Rather, we’d like to sing the praises of the whole experience. We love how the front dining room has been massaged to include a lounge space, where one can enjoy the house sangria or frolic through a fairly priced wine list of delicious Spanish, Chilean, Argentine, and Portuguese goodness. Don’t overlook the sherry selections; it isn’t often one gets offered good sherry choices in Spanish Docklands Restaurants. The servers are good at describing all the plates, and are always ready to fetch more of that sangria. We’re not a bit surprised that Centro is an instant hit.
